Andrew M. Hamill

Andrew grew up just outside of Philadelphia, PA, where he met and later married his childhood sweetheart, Eileen. Their shared adventurous spirit led them to Germany in 1994, where Andrew accepted a management position with Prudential Insurance. After several years abroad, they returned to the U.S., living in Central Virginia, Ohio, and South Florida before settling in Charleston in 2010—where they, along with their three children, Michaela, Shannon, and Ian, have proudly called home ever since.

A graduate of Penn State University with a degree in Economics, Andrew launched his career in the insurance industry in 1990 as a career agent with Prudential. His talent and dedication quickly earned him promotions to Sales Manager and Associate Managing Director, setting the stage for a distinguished career in insurance and financial services. Over the years, he has held national leadership roles with major insurance carriers and played key roles in two Insurtech startups.

With 35 years of industry experience, Andrew’s passion lies in helping families and small businesses navigate the complexities of insurance protection and retirement planning. This passion inspired him to establish VIP Insurance & Retirement Solutions, where he is committed to empowering clients with expert guidance and personalized solutions.
 
Andrew is an active member of the Charleston community, residing on Johns Island with Eileen and their three beloved dogs—Milo, Elsie, and Ruby. He regularly participates in business networking groups such as 1 Million Cups and WAJIBA and enjoys staying engaged with other local business associations. In his free time, he loves staying active, being outdoors, cooking, traveling, and participating in his Seacoast men’s group.

Eileen Hamill

Director of Client Services

As the Director of Client Services, Eileen Hamill is dedicated to ensuring every client receives exceptional support and guidance. With a foundation in business ownership and a passion for helping others, she focuses on creating a seamless and personalized experience for individuals, families and business owners as they navigate their insurance and retirement options.

Having owned several small businesses, Eileen understands the importance of personalized service and takes pride in building lasting relationships with clients. She is also an advocate for the local business community, actively supporting and promoting fellow entrepreneurs.
 
Outside of work, Eileen is passionate about fitness, wellness, travel, and cooking. She enjoys staying active and spending quality time with her children, embracing a lifestyle that promotes balance and well-being.
